Terms of Service
These terms apply when you ask GoWebRise for a free demo or buy a website from us. They are written in plain language; if anything is unclear, ask us before you sign up.
Who we are
GoWebRise (“we”, “us”) designs, builds, hosts and maintains websites for small and medium businesses, and is based in Malaysia, serving clients worldwide. You can reach us at contact.gowebrise@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +60175567332.
Free demo
Before you pay anything, we build a demo of your website. If it is not right, we revise it. If you decide not to go ahead, you can walk away at no cost and with no obligation.
What you pay
Each website has a one-time build fee, set by the plan you choose on our pricing section. The build includes the website described for that plan, plus the free setup listed there (such as logo design, Google Business Profile, SEO and Google Search Console setup). There is no setup fee on top. Anything outside your plan is quoted separately before we start it.
Every website also has a monthly fee of $20 for hosting and support, required for as long as the website is live. It covers your client dashboard, hosting, SSL, security updates, fixes if something breaks, 8 minor and 2 major edits a month, ongoing SEO improvements and a monthly traffic report.
A minor edit is a small change to existing content, such as updating text, a price, a photo or opening hours. A major edit is a bigger change, such as adding a new section or page, or reworking the layout of a page. Edits beyond your monthly allowance are quoted before we start them.
All prices are in US dollars (USD). Monthly fees are billed in advance. If a payment is overdue, we will contact you first; if it stays unpaid, we may pause the website until it is settled.
Money-back guarantee
If you are not happy with your website within 30 days of launch, tell us and we will refund your build fee in full. Monthly fees already used are not refunded.
Cancellation
There is no minimum term. You can cancel at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp at least 30 days before your next billing date. We then stop billing, and the website goes offline at the end of the last paid month. There are no exit fees.
Launch timeline
Most websites go live within 3 days of you approving the demo. The timeline depends on receiving your content (text, photos, logo) on time. If we miss the launch date we agreed with you for reasons on our side, we keep working at no extra cost until the site is live.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you give us: text, logos, photos and other material. You confirm you have the right to use it, and you allow us to use it to build and run your website.
Ownership
GoWebRise owns the website’s design and code, and any logo we design for you, including when you have paid the build fee. While you are subscribed, you have the right to use the website for your business. You own your domain name and all the content you give us (text, photos, and any logo you already had), and you can take them with you at any time.
Domain name
You need your own domain name (for example, yourbusiness.com). You register it in your name and pay the registrar directly. We connect it to your website and can help you choose and register one. Because the domain is yours, it stays yours if you cancel.
Support
We aim to reply to every WhatsApp message within 20 minutes during business hours (GMT+8) and within 40 minutes outside them. If something on your website breaks while we host it, we fix it as part of your monthly fee.
Showing your website in our portfolio
We may show your website in our portfolio and on our social media. If you would rather we did not, tell us and we will remove it.
What you agree not to do
You agree not to use the website we build for anything illegal in Malaysia or where you do business, or to publish content that infringes someone else’s rights. We may take such content down.
Results and liability
We build every website to be fast, mobile-friendly and set up for search engines, but no one can guarantee a specific Google ranking, number of enquiries or sales, and we do not.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and tell existing clients before the change affects them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
