Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data GoWebRise collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. GoWebRise is based in Malaysia and follows Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA); we work with clients worldwide and respect the privacy rights of your own country too.
Who we are

What we collect
When you contact us
Your name, phone number, email address, business name, and whatever you tell us about your project. You send this yourself through WhatsApp, email or a phone call. This website has no forms.
When you become a client
The details we need to build and bill your website: business details, the content you give us (text, logos, photos), and payment records.
When you browse this website
Anonymous or pseudonymous usage data from the analytics tools listed below, such as pages viewed, device type, approximate location from your IP address, and how you scroll and click.
Analytics, cookies and local storage
We use these tools to understand which pages help visitors and which do not:
Vercel Web Analytics
Counts page views in aggregate. It does not use cookies.
Microsoft Clarity
Heatmaps and session recordings that show how visitors use our pages. Clarity uses cookies and is run by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Clarity does not set cookies without consent, and we do not ask for it, so Clarity runs there in a limited, cookie-free mode.
Theme preference
If you switch to dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.
How we use your data

- To build, host, update and support your website.
- To bill you and keep the records the law requires.
- To improve this website, using the analytics above.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send you marketing messages unless you ask for them.
Who we share it with
Only with the services we need to run the business: Vercel (website hosting), Meta (WhatsApp), Google (email) and Microsoft (Clarity). Some of these process data outside your country and outside Malaysia. We also disclose data when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted when they are no longer needed. Client records are kept for as long as you are a client, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your data, unless we must keep it by law (for example, invoices).
- Stop using your data, or withdraw a consent you gave earlier.
Email contact.gowebrise@gmail.com and we will reply within 21 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS only. We keep client files and logins in access-controlled accounts and share them only with the people working on your project.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the “last updated” date at the top.
